Great to see so many of you this year at PETE&C! I'm the Moodle admin for Chester County IU, and met many of you last year at our Moodle presentation. This year I was thrilled to moderate the Moodle Birds of a Feather on Monday night. It was a great chat with talented Moodlers; check out the discussion above on one of the hot topics, a Moodle event for PA. It was a group of just 10-15 people, so I'm hoping we can get some weigh-in from others who weren't there. Thanks!

We just added moodle plugin: media center. I am having trouble getting a .wmv to play. I can't find what kinds of movies play on this plug in. I've looked through moodle.org.
Any ideas?

I've been using Moodle for two years in my Chemistry & Physics classes. It's great to learn new things to do in Moodle. Not only for Moodle features, include everything to make it a one stop shop for your students. My students always start here then link to other tools like Google Docs, Web 2.0 tools etc.

Ann,

Since we are working hard on this at the IU please see me or shoot me an email while we are in Hershey so we can chat. I am working the SNL a time or two if you are looking for me!

I am interested in Moodle but haven't used it. WE do have a Moodle server but it is not functioning yet. Does anyone know of any sessions for beginners in Moodle?

I have worked with both Sherry Nesbitt and Lisa Butler in the past and know they will have much to offer participants in their session, Global Connections. Get ready to learn many ways to create a rich resource for your courses from these two energetic educators! Give your course an online presence with Moodle! I'm a big fan of this course management system and feel it is very user-friendly.

Lisa Butler and I will be presenting on Tuesday about how we use Moodle in the Foreign Language classroom. The ideas can be used across other subject areas as well. Our presentation is called: Global Connections, and we will present Tuesday morning at the Lodge.

We've been using Moodle for several years now and are currently looking to how we can use it for ESL learners and adding SCORM activities created in Articulate. I'm looking forward to learning more about how people are using Moodle.

I was hired by my current district in August and announced that I would begin a Moodle cohort in January, hoping to attract at least one teacher from each of four buildings to join in. We have 28 teachers K-12 who are now a part of the group and we would be very interested in collaborating with other districts who are just beginning to implement this tool.

I've been playing around with moodle since v.9. Now that cff has come along I have a use for moodle! Nathan's session was great. I would like more information and resources about the quiz markup language.
