@ Sally Bair - I teach Spanish and have been compiling a list of possible Apps for use in my classroom. The Apps include resources for teaching culture, geography, vocab, grammar, etc.
The list is a work in progress. All the Apps and podcasts listed are free, which is perfect for a class set.

Does anyone know of a notes app that is free and syncs with your laptop? Most free apps that I have found sync with the companies web server, such as Evernote. I know that the iPod Touch's note's app syncs with Apple's mail program, but I am looking for a stand alone program that will sync notes with the iPod Touch. Thanks.

Any ideas of how to use the Ipod touch with students who have special needs? Any ideas for access methods, for kids that cannot use direct touch?

At Northern Lebanon, we are embarking on an iTouch project in the middle school for Spanish and General Music. Any and all advice and apps suggestions will be accepted with deep gratitude.

great to see the discussion, I'd be curious how i might get a set in my school? we are exploring iphones as student computers. Any experiences? Grant opportunities?

I have been exploring this use for over a year. Started with a small project this school year and really want to expand it if my school budget will allow.

Hi Everyone, We have two iPod projects for foreign language. The high school one has been used for a year and we are just getting started at a middle school. The presentation yesterday was super helpful.
