I was at this workshop this morning...can you tell me the term you used for a podcast with pictures? Was it BODCAST?

I believe it is a VODcast.

Hi Randi - Kim is correct - a podcast with pictures or video is often referred to as a vodcast.

Thanks Carol, I want to explore more on using comic life in my reading class. I have done a little so far but want to get more involved.

Do you have any suggestions to produce comic books with Windows machines?

Comic Life now has a Windows/PC version. And there are numerous websites designed for creating comics. Check out http://www.freetech4teachers.com/2009/02/7-resources-for-creating-c...

Our Wiki has links to sites to produce comics - but I am not sure about creating comic books. The only thought I have is to create the individual comic pages in Bitstrips and print the page. You could then create a book with those printed pages (perhaps after they've been laminated?). More time consuming would be to scan the comics, save as jpgs, and then put together in InDesign, Powerpoint, etc.

A comic book creating site would be a great addition to Web 2.0 - maybe I'll try twitter and see if anyone knows of one. If so, I'll let you know.
